Error: Failed to list Firebase projects. See firebase-debug.log for more info.

What is this?

firebase projects:list

Running this command gave me the error below. Here's a note on how I fixed it.

Error: Failed to list Firebase projects. See firebase-debug.log for more info.

Environment

• Apple Silicon M1 MacBook Air
• macOS
• firebase cli version 13.23.0

Fix

Try logging in again.
This error sometimes shows up after upgrading the firebase CLI. If that's the case, just log back in.

firebase login --reauth

This fixed it for me!
