Getting OpenClaw Up and Running

Introduction

clawdbot? moltbot? These are just notes from getting openclaw up and running.

I used this YouTube video as a reference.

Environment

• MacBook Pro 2020

Steps

I followed the official steps and installed it.

Setup asks you a bunch of questions, but I think the only things you really need to think about are which model and which chat app to use.

Since I already had a paid Anthropic API plan, I tried using the Haiku model.

For the chat app, I went with Telegram since it's easy to configure.

To set it up, open Telegram, start a chat with Botfather, and register a bot under whatever name you like.
Once registered, grab your access token and paste it into Openclaw.
After that, start a chat with the bot you just created, and

openclaw pairing approve telegram <送信されてきたコード>

once you enter this, you can now issue instructions straight from Telegram!
